Controls:
- WASD to move Mouse.
- Dash (Hold Shift) to get across danger, cliffs, and broken bridges.
- Jump / Double Jump
(Space) to jump over obstacles and get to higher places.
- Click Triangle / Space to progress dialogue and make choices
Be careful... There are areas where you must rely on your acorn lantern to light the way!
KNOWN ISSUES:
- Mac users may not be able to open the build. As a temporary fix, follow this tutorial to open the Mac build.
- After the cave area, the game cannot be progressed further at a certain point in the level
- When progressing through the Kiwi interaction, the dialogue triangle may not work, so restart the game if this is the case! We are still not sure what causes this.
We are actively working on a polished / completed version of the game after this jam's conclusion.

Left you all a comment on the jammy. this is real quality and heart!
Its a shame this didn't make it in time for game jam submission.
Really good art, sound and narrative.
I got softlocked after the turtle gave the boots back, I fell into the pit behind me.
I really like the storytelling through taking away and restoring player abilities.
We were distraught when we were a couple minutes late in submitting our game, but TGC was really generous and understanding of our situation. It's up now!
But yes, we're also aware that the area where you got softlocked is blocked, but we're working on making a more completed and (hopefully bugless) version of the game after this jam's concluded!
